Farmers Market Salad with Fresh Basil Dressing


I prepared these CBD brands reviews after going to the Larchmont farmers market in LA. I was really inspired by all the fresh greens and I wanted to make something that featured the gorgeous basil I picked up. This salad is perfect to serve with chicken or fish as the main protein.

Prep: 10 minutes
Serving: dressing for 4 main course salads
Total Time: 15 minutes

– 1 head of butter lettuce
– Red Mizuna lettuce (optional)
– 2 egg (per salad plate)  
– 2 Persian cucumbers
– 1/2 cup shaved fennel
– 2-3 French breakfast radishes
– 3 rashers of sugar-free bacon
– 2 tbsp toasted macadamia nuts
– 1 tbsp organic pumpkin seeds
– 10 Fresh sage leaves

– 1/2 cup of fresh basil
– 1/2 cup olive oil
– 1 tsp Himalayan salt
– 1 tsp organic Dijon mustard
– 1 egg yolk


    1. Combine all dressing ingredients in a high powered blender 
    2. Wash, dry, chop and toss all fresh ingredients
    3. Sautee nuts, seeds, and sage in 1 tsp of coconut oil
    4. Dress salad 5 minutes before serving
